Engineering Manager – Ballabgarh Plant

Reporting to: Manufacturing Director-Ballabgarh (matrix reporting to AP Engineering)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for reliability of plant equipment including Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Utility systems
2. Ensure all safety standards as per Goodyear standards are met
3. Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations related to engineering, such as Setting, BOCW, MCF, Building/Expansion, and FM Global
4. Maintain machines to ensure zero breakdowns and process conformity
5. Handle expansion projects, ensuring costs remain within approved budgets
6. Drive Plant Optimization Reliability pillar as per company guidelines
7. Coordinate with Production, Quality, Safety, and Finance departments to drive plant KPIs
8. Enhance team capability through mentoring, coaching, and succession planning
9. Ensure all safety and environmental compliance requirements are met with no adverse regulatory notices

Manage spare parts inventory to meet operational requirements
11. Develop a bench of indigenous suppliers in alignment with global teams to reduce import content and increase local expertise
12. Execute and achieve regional bold goal related to energy saving
13. Lead safety-related priority projects
14. Improve and impart skills to enhance overall engineering team efficiency, including third-party resources
15. Drive and implement Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) projects within the engineering function
16. Obtain and maintain all necessary statutory licenses from government authorities
