Purpose of the Position:

- Establish, install, and maintain wage incentive plans as applicable based on standards
- Provide plant management with information, studies, and recommendations either self-initiated or requested by leadership
- Support plant/business center in achieving production goals by identifying, developing, and implementing Focused Improvement (FI) opportunities aligned with plant optimization and zero loss

Responsibilities:

- Independently develop time standard data and piecework rates, evaluate ergonomic/motion in positions, and provide data to management and union
- Make recommendations on pay scale and review as required
- Independently determine factory staffing and changes in labor requirements as necessitated by ticket fluctuation and plant capacity
- Coordinate with Engineering Department to conduct efficiency studies, justify capital expenditures, and recommend improvements
- Independently conduct job analysis on positions, evaluating responsibilities, physical demands, working conditions, and skill levels




- Participate and assist in the facilitation of continuous improvement activities and act as a resource to the production team
- Plan and obtain alignment with stakeholders for manufacturing manning deployment
- Support plant optimization by applying IE expertise to identify and implement FI activities throughout the organization to achieve or exceed TDC targets

- Business Acumen: Aligning engineering projects with organizational goals
