Manager - Plant Mechanical Maintenance

Location: Ballabgarh, Faridabad, HR, IN

Reporting to: Engineering Manager - Ballabgarh

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical Maintenance Management:

- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules for all mechanical equipment
- Monitor equipment performance and identify areas for improvement or upgrade
- Ensure machinery and mechanical systems operate with minimal downtime
- Lead a team of mechanical technicians and engineers in daily maintenance tasks

Equipment Installation and Modification:

- Oversee installation of recent equipment ensuring compliance with design and safety standards
- Modify and upgrade existing machinery to improve productivity and reduce costs

Leadership and Team Management:

- Lead, train, and mentor mechanical engineers, technicians, and support staff
- Develop team capabilities through training and performance appraisals
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Coordinate with production, quality, and safety departments

Process Optimization and Troubleshooting:

- Continuously assess mechanical processes for reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness




- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and operational inefficiencies with effective solutions
- Lead root cause analysis for repeated failures and suggest preventive actions

Safety and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at local, state, and national levels
- Implement and enforce safety programs and staff training
- Maintain maintenance activity records for standards and audits

Budget and Cost Management:

- Manage maintenance budget with cost-effective resource use
- Prepare reports on maintenance costs, capital investments, and downtime
- Manage external contracts for machinery repair and service

Spare Parts and Inventory Management:

- Manage spare parts inventory ensuring critical components availability
- Forecast and plan procurement to avoid production delays
