Animator and Visual Designer Serein helps companies improve workplace learning. We're looking for an Animator and Visual Designer who thinks like a storyteller as much as a designer, someone who wants to turn dry course content into worlds people actually want to spend time in. This isn't about decorating slides. It's about building immersive learning experiences: characters people root for, visual worlds that make a topic feel alive, gamified moments that turn passive scrolling into active play, and a visual language that shifts and adapts with every new brief. If you get a kick out of asking what if this lesson felt like a game or a mini-world instead of a slide deck, this role is built for you. You'll work closely with product, content, sales and marketing teams. You'll also have real creative ownership over how our learning looks and moves. Design environments, transitions and motion that pull learners into a topic, not just present it to them Own the visual direction of a course from first sketch to final render Design every screen to earn the learner's attention, not just hold it Create animated videos and video-based learning experiences that bring storytelling to life Design characters and scenes that carry a story's emotional beats Design and animate gamified mechanics: challenges, rewards, progress systems and unlockables Move fluidly between styles like flat design, 3D,



illustrative and motion graphic to fit each brief Build a distinct visual language for every client or course Pitch and build bold creative concepts, even ones that might not work Design original characters with real personality that learners connect with Deliver polished, interactive, on-time work across multiple projects 1–2 years of experience in animation, visual design or a related field ~ A strong portfolio showing animation, visual storytelling, character or world-building work. Collaborate with product, content and marketing teams to bring courses to life ~ Experience in e-learning, explainer videos, education, games or digital content is a big plus ~ Strong proficiency in Figma, Claude, Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard design/animation tools, with the ability to quickly pick up Serein's internal tools and workflows ~ A knack for turning ideas and course material into visual experiences people enjoy engaging with ~ Solid grasp of layout, colour, typography, animation and visual balance ~ An organised, ownership-driven approach to your projects At Serein, you'll join a mission-driven, quick-growing team reshaping how organisations learn, grow and build cultures of safety and belonging.
