Role Description The Electrical Safety Supervisor is a full-time, in office role. This role is responsible for implementing and monitoring electrical safety procedures at project sites, ensuring compliance with national safety standards, company policies, and client requirements. Daily tasks include conducting site safety inspections, identifying hazards, enforcing lockout/tagout procedures, and overseeing safe work practices for electrical installations, maintenance, and commissioning activities. The supervisor will lead safety briefings and toolbox talks, coordinate with project managers and engineers to integrate safety protocols into work plans, and maintain accurate safety records, incident reports, and corrective action logs.



The role also involves training site personnel on electrical safety, supporting audits, and continuously improving safety performance through proactive risk assessment and awareness initiatives.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong electrical safety and risk management skills, including knowledge of electrical codes, standards, safe work procedures, and hazard identification.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in supervising electrical works in Transmission & Distribution, rural electrification, or industrial/commercial power projects.
- Candidates should possess competencies in incident reporting, safety documentation, audit support, and maintaining compliance records.
- Candidates should possess skills in conducting safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for site teams and contractors.
- Candidates should possess effective communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, and client representatives.
- Candidates should possess the ability to interpret technical drawings, safety guidelines, and method statements related to electrical installations.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred; relevant safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are an added advantage.
- Prior experience in EPC, infrastructure, or power sector projects, and familiarity with Indian safety regulations and standards, will be beneficial.
