Role Description

The Link Building Associate is a full-time, on-site, entry-level role based in Jaipur, ideal for freshers looking to start their career in SEO and outreach marketing. This role is responsible for acquiring high-quality backlinks for DevMarkLab's clients through personalized outreach to website owners, bloggers, and content editors in the developer and SaaS space. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting link opportunities (guest posts, resource pages, niche edits, broken link building), finding and verifying contact details, writing and sending personalized pitch emails,



following up on outreach campaigns, and negotiating placements. The associate will also study competitor backlink profiles, identify link gaps, track outreach in a live sheet (sent, opened, replied, closed), and report weekly on links acquired versus targets. Familiarity with SEO tools and a sharp eye for quality, relevant link sources over spammy ones is expected.

Qualifications

- Clear, persuasive Email Writing skills, able to craft outreach and follow-up emails that get replies, not marked as spam.
- Basic understanding of SEO and backlinks, why they matter and what makes a link good vs toxic. Willingness to learn quickly if not already familiar.
- Comfortable with high-volume, repetitive outreach work and follow-ups without losing consistency or professionalism.
- Research skills to find relevant, niche-fit websites and correct contact persons (not generic info@ emails).
- Robust organizational skills to manage multiple outreach campaigns and trackers simultaneously.
- Familiarity with tools like Ahrefs, Hunter.io, Google Sheets is a plus, but not mandatory, we'll train the right candidate.
- Freshers welcome. 0-1 years of experience preferred. Recent graduates in Marketing, Communications, English, or related fields encouraged to apply.
