The Tool Pusher - Workover Rig is responsible for overseeing the operations of the workover rig, ensuring safety and efficiency in all activities. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, particularly in workover operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise the workover rig crew and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Manage equipment and machinery operations during workover activities.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations during workover projects.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of workover rig equipment.
- Provide training and guidance to crew members on best practices and safety measures.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment usage, and materials consumed.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 8-13 years of experience in a similar role in the oil and gas industry.
- Robust knowledge of workover rig operations and maintenance.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in drilling and workover operations.
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
