We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to join our team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining HSE policies and procedures.
- Conducting regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Identifying potential hazards and risks in the workplace and recommending corrective actions.
- Providing HSE training and awareness programs for employees.
- Investigating incidents and accidents, preparing reports, and implementing preventive measures.
- Collaborating with management to promote a culture of safety in the workplace.
- Monitoring and reporting on HSE performance metrics and compliance requirements.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Engineering or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management.
- In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards applicable in India.
- Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using HSE management software and tools.
