Description

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator-IT to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security of our systems. You will work closely with other IT staff to support our organization's technical needs and drive improvements in our IT environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
- Monitor network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.
- Ensure the integrity of the network, server deployment, and security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights for various systems and applications.
- Install and configure hardware and software components, including servers and network devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide technical support to end-users.
- Implement and manage server virtualization technologies.
- Maintain documentation for processes, procedures,



and system configurations.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8-13 years of experience in system administration or a related role.
- Proficiency in Linux and Windows server environments.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.) and on-premise solutions.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automation tasks.
- Ability to perform system backups and disaster recovery operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with other team members and departments.
