Role Overview

We are looking for a senior Full Stack Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, React, Microservices, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

The role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable, highly available cloud-native applications and microservices. You will work in an Agile engineering environment using modern development practices such as TDD, Pair Programming, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x microservices on GCP.

- Develop scalable and resilient REST APIs and integrate them with React-based frontend applications.

- Build and optimize APIGEE endpoints with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.

- Develop full-stack solutions using Java/Spring Boot and React.

- Work with Spring Batch, Reactive Programming, Project Reactor, and data pipelines/streams.

- Design and implement caching solutions using Redis and cache-aside/read-write-through patterns.

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build and Tekton.

- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.

- Monitor application performance and reliability using Dynatrace, Splunk, and cloud monitoring tools.

- Design highly available, fault-tolerant microservices and contribute to SRE practices.

- Participate in technical discovery, architecture discussions, solution design, and technical feasibility assessments.

- Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

- Participate in Pair Programming, TDD, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews,



and retrospectives.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical best practices.

- Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, testing, refactoring, and documentation.

- Ensure code quality, security, scalability, and operational excellence.

Must-Have SkillsCore Java & Backend

- 7+ years of experience in enterprise web application and backend service development.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with:

- Core Java

- Spring Boot

- Spring Batch

- Reactive Programming / Project Reactor

- Data Streams & Pipeline Processing

- Strong experience with Java 17+.

- Strong experience in Microservices Architecture.

Frontend

- Hands-on experience with React.

- Good understanding of modern frontend development and JavaScript.

Cloud – GCP

- 3+ years of cloud experience.

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on GCP architecture and implementation.

- Experience with:

- Google Compute Engine

- Cloud Run

- Cloud SQL

- Pub/Sub

- Redis

- Cloud Build

API & Testing

- Experience with RESTful APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, and APIGEE.

- Hands-on experience with:

- JUnit

- Mockito

- Test-Driven Development (TDD)

- Knowledge of code quality and security tools such as SonarQube.

- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter is preferred.

DevOps & Monitoring

- Experience with Cloud Build and Tekton for CI/CD.

- Hands-on experience with Terraform.





- Experience with Splunk and Dynatrace for monitoring and observability.

- Understanding of cloud-native deployment and reliability practices.

- Open-source contributions or technical publications.
