About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Architect to lead the design and evolution of our core Java-based enterprise applications. You will be responsible for defining high-level system architecture, driving technical strategy, and designing robust database schemas (with heavy emphasis on Data Definition Language / DDL expertise) to support scalable, high-throughput platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define, design, and implement complex enterprise architectures using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.

- Lead database architecture and data modeling, writing and reviewing extensive DDL (Data Definition Language) scripts to manage schema evolution, indexing, and performance.

- Drive High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) for highly available, fault-tolerant distributed systems.

- Establish coding standards, architecture governance, and CI/CD best practices across engineering squads.

- Mentor senior developers, conduct rigorous code and architecture reviews,



and resolve critical production bottlenecks.

- Collaborate closely with product management to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Must-Have Qualifications:

- 9+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in an Architectural or Technical Lead capacity.

- Expert-level proficiency in Java (8-17+), JVM internals, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA.

- Deep expertise in relational database design (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) with strong, demonstrable experience in DDL, complex data modeling, and database refactoring.

- Proven track record of designing and scaling microservices and distributed systems.

- Willingness to relocate to or work in office from our Goa office (100% Work From Office).

Good-to-Have Skills:

- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).

- Experience with automated database migration tools (Flyway, Liquibase).
