The Role:

As a SCAN to BIM Engineer at Inkers, you will convert high-density laser scan and point cloud data into precise, coordinated Building Information Models spanning both architectural and structural scopes. You will work end-to-end in Autodesk Revit — from raw scan registration through to fully documented as-built models — on live construction and renovation projects for our clients. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who wants to build deep expertise across the full reality-capture-to-BIM pipeline, not just one discipline.

Key Responsibilities:





● Model architectural elements (walls, floors, doors, windows, finishes) and structural elements (columns, beams, slabs, framing) from point cloud data in Revit

● Perform QC checks against source scan data; produce as-built documentation and drawings

● Coordinate architectural and structural models, running clash detection across disciplines

● Work with field scanning teams to resolve data gaps; maintain project schedules and standards

Required Qualifications:

● Bachelor's in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, or related field

● 1–4 years of hands-on Scan-to-BIM experience, across both architectural and structural modeling

● Advanced Revit proficiency (point cloud linking, families, schedules); familiarity with ReCap/CloudCompare/Cyclone

● Understanding of clash detection, BIM standards/LOD, and construction documentation

Preferred : Multi-discipline (architectural + structural) project experience; Dynamo/Python scripting; structural coordination software exposure.
