Company Description Azista Composites Private Limited (ACPL), part of the Azista Group, specializes in high-temperature engineering applications using advanced composite technologies. The company designs, develops, manufactures, tests, and qualifies Carbon-Carbon Composites, Ceramic-Matrix Composites, and Phthalonitrile-based polymer matrix composites. Current developments include aircraft brake discs, self-standing convergent-divergent nozzles, composite overwrapped hydrogen pressure vessels, and composites for hypersonic applications. ACPL operates one of the most advanced end-to-end high-temperature composite manufacturing setups in India. A growing team of around 75 scientists and engineers offers a dynamic environment for individuals interested in cutting-edge materials and engineering solutions.
Role Description The Plant in Charge is responsible for overseeing day-to-day plant operations, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining safety, quality, and cost efficiency. This full-time, on-site role is based in Hyderabad and involves planning and managing production schedules, coordinating with engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams, and supervising plant personnel. The role includes monitoring equipment performance, driving preventive and corrective maintenance, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in processes and workflows. The Plant in Charge will ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards, optimize resource utilization, and prepare operational reports for leadership.



The position also involves supporting talent development on the shop floor and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and innovation.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust plant operations and production management skills, including experience in scheduling, workflow optimization, and resource planning.
- Candidates should possess skills in process improvement and quality management, such as implementing SOPs, handling deviations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, 5S, or similar methodologies).
- Candidates should possess people management and leadership skills, including team supervision, performance monitoring, coaching, and conflict resolution.
- Candidates should possess safety, compliance, and maintenance coordination skills, with the ability to enforce safety standards and collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Candidates should possess strong communication and coordination skills for working with cross-functional teams such as engineering, R&D;, supply chain, and senior management.
- Relevant experience in composite manufacturing, high-temperature materials, aerospace, or advanced materials industries is highly beneficial.
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering, materials science, or a related discipline is preferred; an advanced degree or specialized training in operations or industrial management is an advantage.
- Proficiency with plant management software, ERP systems, and basic data analysis tools is desirable.
