We are looking for an experienced 5G Network Engineer to design, deploy, configure, integrate, optimize, and troubleshoot 5G network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of 5G NR, 4G LTE, RAN, Core Network, IP networking, and telecom protocols, along with hands-on experience in network deployment and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, configure, and maintain 5G NR and LTE networks.

Perform installation, integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of 5G RAN components.

Work with 5G Core (5GC), AMF, SMF, UPF, AUSF, UDM, PCF, and related network functions.

Configure and troubleshoot gNB, eNodeB, RAN, transport, and IP network components.

Analyze network performance, alarms, KPIs, and call/session failures.

Perform 5G network optimization, capacity planning, and performance tuning.

Troubleshoot issues related to 5G signaling, mobility, handovers, registration, PDU sessions, and connectivity.

Work with protocols such as NGAP, GTP, SCTP, HTTP/2, PFCP, Diameter, and SIP.

Perform network testing, validation, integration, and acceptance activities.

Collaborate with RAN, Core, Transport, Cloud, Security, and Operations teams.

Use network monitoring and troubleshooting tools to identify and resolve incidents.

Prepare technical documentation, deployment procedures, test reports,



and RCA documents.

Participate in 24x7 production support and incident management when required.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of 5G NR and 4G LTE technologies.

Hands-on experience with 5G RAN / 5G Core.

Good understanding of 3GPP standards and 5G architecture.

Knowledge of NSA and SA 5G deployments.

Strong understanding of IP networking, TCP/IP, routing, VLAN, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.

Experience with gNB, eNB, AMF, SMF, UPF, UDM, AUSF, PCF.

Knowledge of VoLTE / VoNR and IMS architecture.

Experience with network troubleshooting and packet analysis using tools such as Wireshark.

Understanding of Kubernetes, containers, virtualization, and cloud-native network functions is preferred.

Positive knowledge of telecom signaling and network protocols.

Preferred Skills

Experience with telecom vendors such as Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, Huawei, Cisco, or Juniper.

Knowledge of Open RAN (O-RAN) and virtualization technologies.

Experience with NFV, SDN, CNF/VNF, and cloud-based telecom networks.

Knowledge of 5G network slicing, MEC/edge computing, and QoS.

Experience with automation using Python, Ansible, or Shell scripting.

Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices in telecom environments.
