About the Role
We are a new and ambitious FMCG / confectionery business building a brand from the ground up, and we are looking for a young, energetic, hands-on and result-oriented Sales Head to lead our sales and market-development journey.
This is not a conventional Sales Head role where you inherit an established sales team and distributor network. You will have the opportunity to build the sales organisation, develop the distribution network, establish market presence and drive the growth of the brand from scratch.
You will work directly with the Founder and will have significant ownership in shaping the company's sales strategy, distribution model, market expansion and sales organisation.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild & Develop Distribution Network
Identify,



appoint and manage distributors / super-stockists / channel partners across targeted markets.
Develop new territories and expand geographic coverage.
Evaluate distributors based on market reach, financial capability, infrastructure and ability to develop the brand.
Build robust relationships with distributors, wholesalers and retailers.
Monitor distributor performance, stock movement, sales and collections.
Ensure healthy distributor economics and sustainable channel relationships.
Build & Lead the Sales Team
Recruit, train and develop a capable field sales team.
Define territories, responsibilities and targets.
Establish sales reporting, review and performance-management systems.
Monitor team productivity and achievement of targets.
Conduct joint market visits, coach team members and build a performance-oriented culture.
Develop a lean, productive and scalable sales organisation.
