Position Overview:

Responsible for driving Business Development and Project Origination for Utility-Scale Renewable Energy and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, with a primary focus on Solar, Solar+BESS and standalone BESS opportunities.

The role will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, developing relationships with key stakeholders, tracking tenders and market opportunities, supporting techno-commercial evaluations, and driving projects from initial chance identification through bidding, award and project development.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop utility-scale Solar, Solar+BESS and standalone BESS project opportunities across India.
Develop a strong pipeline of utility-scale renewable energy and BESS opportunities through market intelligence, industry networks, tenders and strategic partnerships.
Analyze tender documents, RFPs, RFQs, RfS and other project requirements and provide inputs for bid/no-bid decisions.
Coordinate with Engineering, Commercial, Finance,



Legal and Project Development teams for techno-commercial evaluation and preparation of bids/proposals.
Evaluate project opportunities based on capacity, technology, grid connectivity, land availability, project timelines, CAPEX/OPEX, tariffs, returns and overall project viability.
Develop and maintain relationships with IPPs, power developers, utilities, DISCOMs, transmission utilities, government agencies, consultants, EPC companies and technology partners.
Support negotiations and commercial discussions with customers, developers, utilities, partners and other stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for EPC, turnkey, BESS supply, Solar+BESS integration, energy storage and project development partnerships.
Coordinate with Project Development and Engineering teams during project conceptualization, development and execution, including land, grid connectivity, evacuation, approvals and statutory requirements.
