Snowflake Administrator

Hyderabad, India (3 Days onsite)

Permanent Position

Note: Must be local to Hyderabad, willing to work in the EST time zone, and available to join with a maximum one-month notice period.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Administrator to manage and maintain our Snowflake environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Snowflake administration, DevOps, and Python programming.

Key Responsibilities

1. Snowflake Administration: Manage and maintain Snowflake environment, including warehouses, databases, and users.

2. Cost Administration: Monitor and manage costs associated with Snowflake usage.

3. Provisioning: Provision databases, warehouses, and other Snowflake resources as needed.

4. Network Policies: Configure and manage network policies to ensure secure access to Snowflake resources.

5. RBAC: Implement and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure proper access controls.

6. AWS Integration: Integrate Snowflake with AWS objects, such as S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.

7. Cortex AI Integration: Integrate Snowflake with Cortex AI.

8. MSK Integration: Integrate Snowflake with MSK (Mandatory).

9. Python Scripting: Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate Snowflake administrative tasks.

Requirements

1. Snowflake Advanced Administrator Certification (Preferred).

2. Snowflake Experience:



Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in Snowflake administration.

3. DevOps Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in DevOps practices.

4. AWS Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in AWS services, including S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.

5. Strong Understanding of RBAC: Must have a strong understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) concepts.

6. Strong Python Programming Skills: Must have strong Python programming skills.

Nice to Have

1. Experience with Cortex AI: Experience with Cortex AI integration with Snowflake.

2. Experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse: Experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse, including data modeling and performance optimization.

3. Experience with AWS CloudFormation: Experience with AWS CloudFormation, including template development and stack management.
