Key Responsibilities
1. New Product Development (NPD)
Generate new product idea around the brand guidelines.
Guide team members in product formulation and trials.
Drive continuous improvement in product life cycle from concept to commercialisation.
2. Product Improvement
Improve existing products for better stability, cost, or shelf life.
Conduct benchmarking and competitor product analysis.
Identify opportunities for product renovation or reformulation.
3. Commercialisation:
Identify the right ingredient suppliers, Packaging suppliers and contract manufacturers for each project.
Plan the pilot trials at contract manufacturer.
Assist in commercial production of recent product launches.
Co-ordinate with internal teams,
Sales and Marketing for idea generation, GTM and product launches.
Required Qualifications
Education
B.Tech / M.Tech: Food Technology
Experience
4-6 years of relevant experience in product development
Experience in managing contract manufacturing of products is plus.
