About the Role
We’re looking for a Procurement Manager to take ownership of our sourcing and procurement function as Samasta grows.
The role will involve both vendor procurement and direct sourcing from farmers, with a strong focus on organic raw materials.
What you’ll own
Direct sourcing from farmers & FPOs
Working closely with ICS (Internal Control System) teams for organic sourcing
Raw material & packaging procurement
Supplier & farmer development
Price negotiation & cost optimisation
Sourcing planning and timely availability
Quality coordination with QA/QC
Alternate sourcing & supplier development
Purchase MIS, costing & ERP management
Coordination with Production, NPD, Quality & Finance
What we’re looking for
5+ years of experience in Procurement / Purchase / Sourcing




Experience in organic food / organic agriculture / FMCG / food industry preferred
Hands-on experience in farmer / FPO sourcing will be a strong advantage
Understanding of organic certification and ICS processes
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Good with numbers, costing and Excel
Strong follow-up and execution skills
Someone who takes ownership and gets things done
