You Are
You have spent years in the trenches with engineering simulation software, and you know that the real work starts after the demo ends. The difference between a customer who adopts a tool and one who abandons it usually comes down to whether someone showed up when the model wouldn't converge at 2 a.m. or when the workflow broke three weeks into a critical project. You are that someone.
You think in solutions, not features. When a customer describes a problem, you are already mapping it to the physics, the solver settings, the mesh quality issue they have not mentioned yet, and the three workarounds you have seen work in similar cases.
You do not wait for perfect information. You ask the right questions, reproduce the issue if you need to, and find a path forward that keeps their project moving.
You have built enough models yourself to know when a support request is actually a workflow problem, a training gap, or a legitimate software limitation. You can explain a complex nonlinear analysis trade-off in terms that make sense to a design engineer who just needs their part to not fail, and you can do it in two languages without losing the nuance. At Synopsys, you will work with customers solving real engineering problems using structural simulation tools that matter, and your work will directly determine whether they succeed or get stuck.
