There's a version of this job that is filing and follow-ups, and a version where nothing gets made unless the person doing it is positive. I'm hiring the second one.

1AM is cold coffee in a can. 100% Arabica, zero added sugar, a lactose free range nobody else in India is making, nine months of shelf life at ambient and no cold chain anywhere. We manufacture through a contract plant, work with an R&D; team through production, and sell across modern trade, quick commerce, vending, institutions and gifting.

You would own everything between the decision to produce and the stock physically existing.
Raw material planning and the negotiation that comes with it - not only the best rate available, but the right quantity at the right time, against real lead times. Production dates confirmed on mail with the manufacturer and with R&D;, not agreed on a call and later found to have moved. The plant ready before a run rather than during it.



Landed cost re-derived after every run so we price off a number that's true this month. And when something goes wrong mid-process, which it will, you take it and close it.

Downstream, you hold the stock. FIFO, always. Batch and expiry visibility on every lot so nothing reaches a platform near a date cutoff. Reorder points that mean production is planned well ahead against manufacturing and material availability, not in reaction to an empty warehouse.
The operational side of quick commerce sits here too. An agency runs growth; you run what's underneath it. POs matched to stock we actually hold, dispatches ready before they're chased, appointments, GRNs, fill rates, and the reason a consignment was rejected at intake fixed so it doesn't repeat. Returns and rejection claims closed with the credit note in hand. On the weeks I'm travelling, this runs without me.
