Our client is looking for an experienced AWS Data Engineer – AI/GenAI with 4+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience.
The ideal candidate should be strong in Python, PySpark, SQL, and AWS, with exposure to Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). The candidate does not need to be an AI/LLM expert but should have practical exposure to AI-enabled data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python, PySpark, SQL, and AWS.
Develop and optimize ETL/ELT and data processing workflows.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation and analysis.
Work with AWS services to build and manage cloud-based data solutions.
Apply GenAI/LLM concepts to data engineering solutions where applicable.
Troubleshoot and optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.

Required Skills
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering.
Robust hands-on experience with Python and PySpark.




Strong practical knowledge of SQL, including complex queries and optimization.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based data engineering.
Exposure to Generative AI and/or LLMs is mandatory; deep expertise is not required.
Exposure to RAG, AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, Vector Databases, or LLM-based solutions is a plus.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience integrating GenAI/LLMs with data pipelines.
Experience with RAG or AI-powered data solutions.
Knowledge of AWS data/AI services.
Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Airflow, Kafka, or similar data platforms.
Experience with large-scale data processing and pipeline optimization.
