Project Engineer - Commercial Projects
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to oversee day-to-day operations on commercial construction projects across India. The role involves coordinating site activities, managing contractors, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Site Management: Supervise all in office activities including civil, interior, MEP, and finishing works.
Coordination: Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth execution.
Scheduling & Monitoring: Track progress against baseline schedules; identify delays and implement corrective actions.
Quality Assurance: Enforce strict adherence to design specifications, workmanship standards, and material quality.
Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory safety norms and conduct regular site safety audits.
Resource Control: Monitor material usage, manage procurement requests,



and control wastage.
Client Interaction: Support project handovers, address client concerns, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
4–8 years of site supervision experience in commercial projects (retail, office, hospitality, etc.).
Strong knowledge of construction drawings, CAD/SketchUp, and project scheduling tools (MS Project/Primavera).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Indian building codes, safety regulations, and vendor management practices.
