Job description:

Key Responsibilities of a Civil Engineer

Plan and design infrastructure projects using engineering principles.
Prepare drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
Conduct site inspections and feasibility studies.
Supervise construction activities to ensure quality and safety.
Ensure projects comply with local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, surveyors, and clients.
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Perform structural analysis and recommend suitable construction materials.
Identify and resolve technical problems during construction.
Prepare project reports, documentation, and progress updates.
Inspect completed projects and recommend maintenance or repairs.




Use engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or Primavera/MS Project.
