Role Description The Civil Structural Drafter will prepare detailed civil and structural drawings and documentation based on engineering and architectural inputs, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include producing shop drawings, technical layouts, and reinforcement details; updating and revising drawings as per design changes; and coordinating with engineers and architects to clarify requirements and resolve discrepancies. The role involves working with CAD/BIM tools to model structural components, maintaining organized drawing records, and supporting project teams with accurate and timely deliverables.
This is a full time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring close collaboration with the local project and design teams.
Qualifications
Proficiency in creating Technical Drawing for civil and structural projects.
Ability to interpret and develop Architectural Drawings into detailed structural layouts.
Foundational knowledge of Structural Engineering principles relevant to drafting and detailing.
Strong skills in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and familiarity with relevant drafting standards and codes.
Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Attention to detail, accuracy in measurements and annotations, and ability to manage multiple drawing packages.
Prior experience in consultancy or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
