About The Role

CurlyBlue is seeking a skilled and autonomous Animator to join our dynamic team working on a state-of-the-art VR game built in Unity for standalone headsets. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality character and weapon animations that meet strict performance standards.



You will be involved throughout the entire asset pipeline—from rigging and skinning in Blender to exporting FBX files and integrating animations into Unity. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with a strong portfolio demonstrating character and weapon animation, rigging, and a solid understanding of Unity’s animation systems. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise and creative talent, including:

Extensive experience with hand-keyed character and weapon animation, demonstrating clean timing, weight, arcs, and silhouette.
Proficiency in rigging and skinning characters and weapons in Blender, including joint placement and weight painting.
Strong understanding of Unity's Animator system, including
