PPC Engineer – Control Panel Manufacturing
Experience: 2–5 years
Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech – Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Production Engineering
Industry: Electrical Control Panels / Switchgear / Industrial Automation
Location: Pune / PCMC / Bhosari
Key Responsibilities
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.
Study BOMs, electrical drawings, GA drawings and production requirements before planning jobs.
Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, Production, Quality and Dispatch teams.
Check availability of electrical components, sheet metal, copper, cables, switchgear and other materials.
Follow up on material shortages and purchase requirements to avoid production delays.
Release and monitor production/work orders through ERP/MRP.
Track WIP and production progress against planned schedules.
Identify bottlenecks and take corrective action to achieve on-time delivery.
Prepare daily/weekly PPC MIS,



shortage reports, production status and dispatch reports.
Monitor production capacity, manpower and machine utilization.
Coordinate with vendors/subcontractors wherever fabrication, powder coating, machining or other outside processes are involved.
Maintain proper planning records and update schedules when there are design changes or customer priorities.
Work closely with production to ensure adherence to quality and delivery commitments.
Required Skills
2–5 years of experience in PPC/Production Planning in control panel or electrical manufacturing.
Valuable understanding of control panel manufacturing processes.
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, BOMs and GA drawings.
Good knowledge of MS Excel.
