Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Store Manager – Maintenance & General Store to manage complete store operations, including maintenance spares, electrical and mechanical items, engineering materials, consumables, and general inventory. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of inventory control, material management, stock handling, and store operations in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of Maintenance & General Store.
Maintain inventory of electrical, mechanical, engineering spares and consumables.
Handle proper receipt, inspection, storage and issue of materials.
Maintain accurate stock records and inventory documentation.




Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and coordinate purchase requirements.
Coordinate with Maintenance, Purchase, Production, Accounts and other departments.
Track material consumption and maintain effective stock control.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
Ensure proper identification, tagging and systematic storage of materials.
Monitor slow-moving, non-moving and obsolete inventory.
Coordinate with vendors and the Purchase team for timely material availability.
Maintain GRN, issue slips, material requests and store records.
Ensure proper housekeeping, safety and 5S practices in the store.
Prepare daily/monthly inventory and consumption reports.
Handle ERP/SAP-based inventory transactions, if applicable.
Required Skills & Experience
3–8 years of experience in Store Management / Engineering Stores / Maintenance Stores.
Experience in Manufacturing / Industrial / Engineering
