We are looking for an experienced Java/JEE Developer with strong expertise in Kafka, Spring Boot, REST Services, Microservices, OpenShift, and JUnit to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade microservices.
? Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Java/JEE microservices using Spring Boot, Spring REST, and Kafka.
Develop event-driven workflows using Kafka.
Build and maintain RESTful services and Java components.
Perform unit and development-level integration testing.
Troubleshoot and resolve production and customer-testing issues.
Participate in code reviews and maintain existing Java components.
Deploy and support applications on Red Hat OpenShift.
Work with GitHub and JIRA in an Agile development environment.
Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code where applicable.
? Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of Java/JEE Microservices development with Spring REST & Spring Boot.
4+ years of Kafka integration for event-driven workflows.
2+ years of Kafka Administration.
1+ year of experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code.
4+ years of Red Hat OpenShift.
4+ years of JUnit-based automated unit testing.
4+ years with Eclipse, Spring Tool Suite, or JBoss Studio.
3+ years with GitHub and JIRA.
2+ years of Oracle Exadata.
Strong understanding of Maven.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions is preferred.
Agile/Scrum experience is preferred; Scrum Master experience is a plus.
