Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Laser Cutting Machine Operator who can operate and manage laser cutting machines efficiently and accurately. The candidate should have practical experience in AutoCAD 2D/3D, drawing interpretation, nesting, and preparing cutting files as per production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor Laser Cutting Machines safely and efficiently.
Read and understand technical drawings and cutting layouts.
Prepare and modify designs/files using AutoCAD 2D/3D.
Convert CAD drawings into machine-readable cutting programs/files.
Perform accurate cutting as per required dimensions and specifications.
Check material, thickness, dimensions, and cutting quality before production.
Set machine parameters according to material type and thickness.
Identify and resolve basic machine and cutting-related issues.
Maintain proper machine settings, tools, and work area.
Follow production schedules and achieve daily production targets.
Ensure proper quality standards and minimize material wastage.
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
Coordinate with the Production and Design teams for smooth operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
ITI/Diploma or relevant technical qualification preferred.
2–5 years of experience in Laser Cutting Machine Operation.
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D is required.
Experience in reading engineering/technical drawings.
Knowledge of CNC/Laser cutting processes and machine settings.
Valuable understanding of measurements and dimensions.
Ability to troubleshoot basic machine-related issues.
Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates with experience in sheet metal/furniture manufacturing, MS/SS sheet cutting, CNC laser cutting, and AutoCAD designing will be preferred.
