Role Description

The Design Engineer will work on-site at the Coimbatore facility in a full time capacity, contributing to the design and development of garment and textile printing machinery and related components. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating 3D models and engineering drawings, collaborating with mechanical and electrical teams to develop integrated machine designs, and preparing specifications and documentation for manufacturing. The role involves optimizing existing products for performance, safety, and cost, conducting design reviews, and supporting prototype builds and testing. The Design Engineer will also interact with production, quality, and service teams to resolve design issues, implement improvements, and ensure designs meet industry standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications
Strong foundation in Design Engineering and Product Design, with the ability to translate functional requirements into practical machine designs.




Solid knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles relevant to machinery, mechanisms, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and detailed engineering drawings.
Basic to intermediate understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts for machinery, including integration of electrical components into mechanical designs.
Relevant bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in industrial machinery, textile or printing equipment design is an advantage.
Ability to interpret standards, work with cross-functional teams, and communicate technical information clearly.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and readiness to work on-site in a manufacturing environment.
