Role Description The Junior Merchandiser is a full time, on-site role based in Jaipur, responsible for supporting merchandising activities across the store and product range. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in product selection and assortment planning, coordinating with design and production teams, and monitoring stock levels and replenishment. The role involves analyzing sales performance, tracking customer preferences, and preparing basic reports to inform merchandising decisions. The Junior Merchandiser also helps maintain visual standards on the shop floor, collaborates with sales and retail staff to support promotions, and ensures that products reflect the brand’s aesthetic and quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage effectively with shoppers, team members, and stakeholders.
Sales and Retail experience to support in-store conversions, product placement, and inventory handling.
Basic Marketing skills to assist with promotions, visual merchandising, and brand representation.
Attention to detail and an eye for fashion, with the ability to understand trends and brand identity.
Good numerical and analytical abilities to interpret sales data and assist with stock and assortment planning.
Ability to work on-site in Jaipur, collaborate within a team, and manage time in a fast-paced retail environment.
Prior experience or internship in fashion merchandising, retail, or apparel is an advantage.
Relevant educational background in Fashion, Retail Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
