Role Description The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems and infrastructure across IIHM facilities, ensuring protected and reliable operations.



Day-to-day tasks include inspecting and troubleshooting electrical equipment, overseeing power distribution and backup systems, coordinating preventive maintenance, and supporting upgrades for classrooms, labs, kitchens, and hostel facilities. The role involves collaborating with facility management, vendors, and contractors to ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, local regulations, and energy efficiency goals. Documentation of electrical layouts, maintenance records, and technical reports will be required, along with participation in planning future campus expansions or renovations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area.
