AI-Native DevOps Engineer

We're a small, AI-native company that builds and operates production systems end toend. The work is real: live services, real users, real consequences when somethingbreaks at 9 a.m. We're hiring our fi rst dedicated infrastructure engineer to takesystems that work from "running" to "running at scale, unattended".

What the role is

Own cloud infrastructure end to end. Provisioning,



networking, TLS, cost. Lean cloudproviders, sized by measurement rather than fashion.
Build deployment pipelines properly.CI-built immutable images, staged promotion (dev →staging → canary → production), versioned database migrations, rollback that's one tag away.
Make systems survivable. Backups with actual restore drills, failover, durable queues atingestion points, Postgres care: partitioning, connection pooling, read replicas.
Observability from zero.Metrics, logs, alerts, SLOs, so a failure pages a person instead ofwaiting to be noticed.
Scale batch and burst workloads. Queue-driven worker pools, autoscaling for sharp dailypeaks, multi-tenant scheduling.
Security fundamentals. Identity and role-based access, per-setting secrets, leastprivilege, third-party API quota management.
AI-native or don't apply. You live in Claude Code and Codex and move between them fl uently.You know
