Role Description This is a full-time, on-site News Anchor role based in Kakori. The News Anchor will present live and recorded news bulletins, introduce segments, and conduct interviews with guests and experts. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and refining scripts, collaborating with reporters and producers to ensure accurate and engaging news coverage, and preparing thoroughly for broadcasts through research and briefings. The role also involves responding to breaking news, maintaining a professional on-air presence,



adhering to editorial standards and journalistic ethics, and supporting the newsroom with promotional appearances or special programming as needed.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills to support accurate, clear, and engaging news coverage.
Candidates should possess Broadcasting and Presenter skills to deliver news confidently and professionally on-air.
Candidates should possess Broadcast Journalism expertise, including knowledge of newsroom workflows and journalistic ethics.
Excellent verbal communication, on-camera presence, and articulation, with the ability to handle live situations and breaking news.
Robust research and fact-checking abilities, with attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as news cycles require.
