Akhil and Shriya — a filmmaker and a psychologist — shared a deep love for dosas.
Missing the Bangalore dosa in Mumbai, they embarked on a quest to recreate their childhood favorite. After perfecting the recipe, they realized the secret to a positive dosa lies not just in the ingredients, but in the honour, respect, and care invested in its making.
The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Assistant Outlet Manager to lead one of our Benne cafés in Mumbai. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, uphold Benne’s high standards of quality and guest experience, and guide your team to deliver service that’s warm, efficient, and consistent. This is a role for someone who’s organized, proactive, and passionate about hospitality — someone who takes ownership of their outlet like it’s their own kitchen.
What You’ll Do
Oversee daily café operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to brand standards
Assist weekly rosters, ensuring optimal staffing and shift coverage
Supervise FOH and BOH teams, ensuring high levels of coordination and communication
Assist in daily briefings, ensure team readiness, and monitor performance throughout the day
Maintain inventory and stock control, ensuring timely ordering and minimal wastage
Monitor hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards in line with FSSAI and company policy
Handle guest feedback with empathy, turning every experience into a memorable one
Support and participate in new initiatives, events, or brand activations at the outlet
What We’re Looking For
2–5 years of experience in café, restaurant, or QSR outlet management
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Experience managing rosters, training, and shift planning
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
A calm, people-first approach, and genuine love for hospitality
Compensation
Negotiable, based on experience.
