RealZLD is building the next generation of industrial water solutions in India. Our mission is to make industrial water more circular - helping businesses recover, reuse and reduce freshwater consumption.

Our technology combines high-pressure Batch RO and evaporation to enable practical Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD), with the potential to replace conventional MEE + ATFD systems.

Role Description
National Sales Head – India | Industrial Water and ZLD

We are looking for a high-ownership sales leader to build RealZLD’s India business from the ground up.
Phase 1 focus: Automotive OEMs & Tier-1 suppliers.

You will own:
?? India sales strategy, pipeline and revenue
? Build relationships across automotive OEMs and Tier-1s
? Create access to CXO, plant, sustainability, EHS and procurement teams
? Identify high-value wastewater/ZLD opportunities
? Own the journey from first conversation → solution → proposal → negotiation → closure
? Own commercial strategy and pricing
? Build the sales engine, partnerships and eventually the team





This is not a territory-management job. It is a business-building role.

You will work directly with the founders and leadership team to establish RealZLD as a serious player in industrial water.

Travel across India's major automotive clusters is an integral part of the role.

Qualifications

8–15+ years in B2B / enterprise / industrial sales

Strong experience with automotive OEMs and/or Tier-1 suppliers

Demonstrated ability to build large-ticket pipelines and close complex B2B deals

Strong understanding of industrial buying processes and stakeholder management

Excellent CXO-level communication, negotiation and commercial skills

Entrepreneurial mindset - comfortable building from zero to one

Mechanical Engineering background

Willingness to travel extensively across India
Experience in industrial water, wastewater, ETP, RO, ZLD or environmental solutions is a robust advantage, but not mandatory.
