Role Description The Design Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.



The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and refining mechanical and process designs for equipment and systems across Goma Group’s core sectors, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and quality standards. Daily activities include creating and updating CAD models and drawings, preparing technical documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams (projects, production, quality, and sales), and supporting the design review and approval process. The role involves evaluating customer specifications, performing basic calculations and feasibility assessments, and suggesting design improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency. The Design Engineer will also support commissioning and troubleshooting activities, coordinate with vendors and suppliers when needed, and contribute to ongoing innovation in product and system design.
