About The Role

We are seeking a talented and autonomous Animator with a strong background in character and weapon animation for our VR game project built in Unity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, hand-keyed animations that meet our performance and aesthetic standards. This role involves rigging and skinning characters and weapons in Blender, exporting assets via FBX,



and integrating them into Unity’s animation system. You will work independently from brief to in-game implementation, owning your assets throughout the development process. Collaboration with the design, art, and development teams is essential to ensure seamless animation hookup and to enhance the overall game feel. This position offers an exciting prospect to contribute to a high-performance VR experience that emphasizes realism, fluidity, and player immersion.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a solid portfolio or reel demonstrating previous work in character and weapon animation, rigging, and skinning. You should have hands-on experience with Blender for rigging and weight painting, and a thorough understanding of Unity’s Animator system, including state machines, transitions, parameters, and blend trees.
