Role Description The Assistant Accountant will support the accounting team in maintaining accurate books of accounts, managing ledgers, and processing day-to-day financial transactions. Responsibilities include posting journal entries, assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable, reconciling bank statements, and helping prepare financial reports and tax-related documentation. The role also involves maintaining organized documentation, supporting audits, and coordinating with seniors to ensure compliance with local accounting and tax regulations.



This is a full-time, in office role based in Delhi, India, requiring regular collaboration with colleagues and clients.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial record maintenance.
Ability to work with accounting software and tools, along with proficiency in MS Excel and other office applications.
Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills for managing documentation.
Good analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a professional office environment.
