About the Role

Shyaway is looking for a Retail Trainer to build a consistent, customer-first service culture across our retail stores.

The role will focus on behavioural coaching, customer experience, product knowledge, selling skills and store SOP training, ensuring every customer receives a qualified, comfortable and respectful shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Store & Sales Training
Conduct induction and refresher training for Store Managers and Sales Associates.
Train teams on product knowledge, bra fit, sizing, fabric, collections and customer recommendations.
Improve consultative selling, cross-selling, upselling and objection handling.
Train employees on Shyaway store SOPs, billing etiquette and brand standards.

Behavioural & Customer Experience Training
Observe live customer interactions and identify behavioural gaps.
Coach employees on greeting, communication, body language, tone of voice,



empathy and professional etiquette.
Train staff to create a respectful, non-judgemental shopping experience while discussing size and fit.
Improve listening skills, customer engagement and complaint handling.
Conduct role-plays using real customer scenarios and provide corrective coaching.

Interpersonal & Behavioural Training
Design and deliver workshops on communication, active listening, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, teamwork and negotiation.
Conduct behavioural needs assessments through store observations, surveys, employee interactions and consultations with Store Managers, Retail Operations and HR.
Develop engaging training materials, presentations, exercises and learning modules for frontline retail employees.
Facilitate interactive sessions using role-plays, simulations, group discussions and case studies based on real store situations.
