The Learning and Development Consultant facilitates structured learning experiences that build job-critical skills and support consistent performance outcomes for business professionals. This role applies adult learning principles to instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning formats (integrating live facilitation with self-paced and applied components), partnering with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and business leaders to ensure learning objectives translate into on-the-job capability.





The Learning and Development Consultant is expected to deliver content with purpose and discipline, using engagement strategically to reinforce understanding, practice skills, and support knowledge retention.

Responsibilities

Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning sessions (live + digital/self-paced + application) aligned to defined learning objectives and performance standards.
Coordinate and facilitate end-to-end blended learning experiences by connecting pre-work, live instruction (in-person or virtual), and post-session practice/assignments; manage modality transitions and supporting technology to maintain engagement and learning continuity.
Deliver current-hire onboarding programs and ongoing learning initiatives that support role readiness and skill progression.
Apply adult learning principles to support understanding, practice, and skill transfer in an operational workplace.
