This is an opportunity to build and evolve payment integrations that simplify ecommerce for merchants across the MENA region.
You will take ownership of PHP-based payment gateway plugins and Shopify integrations, ensuring they remain secure, reliable, scalable, and easy to implement.
The role combines hands-on software development with technical troubleshooting and continuous improvement of the merchant integration experience.
You will work across APIs, SDKs, webhooks, payment flows, automated testing, and third-party ecommerce platforms.
Collaboration with engineering, product, QA, payment operations, and partner teams will be central to delivering high-quality integrations.
Your work will directly contribute to smoother online payment experiences and stronger technical foundations for merchants and partners.

full time role suited to an experienced developer with strong fintech and ecommerce expertise.

Accountabilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize payment plugins and integrations for leading ecommerce platforms.
- Build and maintain secure, scalable, reliable PHP-based payment gateway plugins that are straightforward for merchants to implement.
- Develop and maintain Shopify apps and integrations, ensuring compatibility with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and platform updates.
- Integrate payment APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and payment workflows into ecommerce platforms and applications.
- Implement and support core payment flows, including authorization, capture, refunds, voids, payment-status updates, and asynchronous webhook notifications.
- Troubleshoot production integration issues raised by merchants, partners, and internal teams, identifying root causes and delivering effective solutions.
