Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Heat Treatment In-Charge to manage and monitor heat treatment processes, metallurgical testing, equipment activities, and quality documentation. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of Sealed Quench Furnace (SQF), Induction Hardening, metallurgical laboratory testing, microstructure analysis, and case depth measurement.
Key Responsibilities
Heat Treatment Operations

Manage day-to-day heat treatment operations and ensure process parameters are maintained.

Handle and monitor Sealed Quench Furnace (SQF) processes.

Have working knowledge of Induction Hardening processes and parameters.

Ensure proper loading, unloading, temperature control, quenching and process cycle monitoring.

Identify process deviations and take corrective actions.
Metallurgical Laboratory

Conduct and supervise various hardness tests such as Rockwell, Vickers and related testing.

Perform and interpret microstructure analysis.

Monitor and evaluate case depth and other metallurgical properties.

Ensure proper calibration, maintenance and usage of laboratory equipment.

Prepare and maintain metallurgical test reports.
Equipment & Maintenance Coordination

Carry out and coordinate JH (Job/Equipment Health) activities for heat treatment equipment.

Monitor equipment condition and identify abnormalities.
