Job Description:
BACKGROUND OF THE ROLE:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing the regional sales strategy, achieving revenue and order booking targets, building relationships with utilities and industrial customers, creating demand, and converting opportunities into orders.
Key Markets State TRANSCOs, DISCOMs, Power Utilities, Railways, Metro Corporations, Industries, Renewable Energy Developers, and Power Generation Companies in southern India.
Responsibilities:
• Revenue Growth & Order Booking
• Achieve annual and quarterly targets.
• Build and manage a sales funnel.
• Drive business for all Taurus Powertronics products and services.




- Customer Relationship Management

• Engage with CMDs, Directors, Chief Engineers, SEs, EEs, and procurement teams.
• Maintain strategic account plans.
- Demonstrations & Trials

• Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and pilot projects
• Convert trials into purchase orders.
- Tender Management

• Identify opportunities before tender publication.
• Coordinate technical and commercial bid preparation.
- Market Intelligence

• Track competitor activities, budgets, projects, and tenders.
• Submit monthly market reports.
- Team management and monitoring

• A team of two technical engineers , one Subject matter Expert(Techno-Commercial Member) and a sales engineer will be part of your team
