About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Deep experience in solution architecture across technology, application, data, integration, infrastructure, and security domains.
- Solid understanding of OT and IT networking technologies, including segmented networks, SDN, SD-WAN, MPLS, hosting services, cloud networks, secure remote access, and IT/OT convergence strategies.
- Knowledge of industrial automation and control systems architectures, including fixed and wireless networks, telemetry, SCADA, PLCs, DCS, historians, edge systems, and the transport of critical production data.
- Experience developing high-fidelity architecture artefacts that support system procurement, design validation, implementation planning, and stakeholder decision-making.
- Practical understanding of IT/OT system interoperability in mining, resources, utilities, oil and gas, or other large-scale industrial programs.
- Knowledge of integration patterns and protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT, API gateways, message brokers, industrial data platforms,



and secure data exchange across OT and enterprise environments.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity-by-design principles, including network segmentation, Zero Trust concepts, defence-in-depth, access control, secure interfaces, and industrial cybersecurity standards.
- Ability to align diverse technical stakeholders through structured architecture methods, workshops, design reviews, decision records, and clear visual communication.
- Experience in hybrid cloud-edge deployments, remote operations concepts, platform orchestration, digital integration, and secure connectivity for operational environments.
- Ability to support cost, risk, schedule, procurement, vendor, and delivery decisions with architecture-led evidence and traceability.
