What you’ll need to succeed as a Specialist, Time and Attendance at XPO
Minimum qualifications:
- 1 year of HR shared services, payroll, customer service, or related experience, preferably within a large multi-state organization.
- Working knowledge of HR processes, procedures, and compliance requirements within at least one HR functional area (ex: employee data, benefits, payroll, staffing, compensation, or learning).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred qualifications:
- 3 years of HR shared services, payroll, customer service, or related experience, preferably within a large multi-state organization.
- Ability to accurately process transactions and maintain confidential employee information.
- Ability to identify issues in straightforward situations, follow established procedures, and make sound decisions within defined guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with contact center technology and case management systems (ex: ServiceNow).
- Experience with workforce management or HR systems (ex: Kronos, Workday, UKG).
- Robust customer service skills with a focus on timely and accurate resolution of employee inquiries.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, follow established processes, and meet service-level expectations.
- Ability to recognize when issues fall outside standard procedures and require escalation.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with employees and managers at all levels.
- Understanding of standard business practices and professionalism in a service-oriented environment
