1. Electrical System Design & Development
- Support the design and development of electrical systems for DG sets, including wiring harness, control panels, battery systems, and lighting components.
- Assist in preparing electrical schematics, layouts, and system specifications.
- Ensure designs are aligned with application requirements and operational reliability standards.
2. Electronics & Digital Systems Integration
- Assist in integration of electronic systems such as controllers, sensors, telematics (GPRS), and monitoring systems.
- Support development of communication interfaces between various subsystems (engine, alternator, control units).
- Contribute to enhancing user-machine interface for better diagnostics and control.
3. Application Understanding & Innovation
- Study application requirements across industries (construction, telecom, infrastructure, etc.) and support design adaptation.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in electrical and electronic systems.
- Support implementation of creative features for product differentiation.
4. Diagnostics & Troubleshooting
- Assist in developing basic diagnostic and troubleshooting strategies for electrical systems.
- Support testing, validation, and failure analysis activities.
- Work with service teams to understand field issues and improve design reliability.
5. Cross-functional Coordination
- Collaborate with mechanical, engine, and manufacturing teams for system integration.
- Support vendor interactions for development and sourcing of electrical components.
- Assist in ensuring smooth transition from design to production.
6. Documentation & Process Adherence
- Prepare and maintain engineering documents, BOMs, and test reports.
- Follow engineering processes and quality practices (DFMEA, basic DFM/DFA awareness).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
