Production Supervisor Shop Line Competence Job Description Who you are/: Oversee daily shift operations on the manufacturing line, making sure that operators adhere to production targets, station assignments, and shift schedules. To maintain the desired line speed, track hourly line productivity, address any operational bottlenecks right away, distribute operators among stations as efficiently as possible, and reduce machine idle time. To lower shift scrap and rework rates, enforce process quality standards at each workstation, carry out routine hourly line checks, report non/-conformances and work with Quality Control. Maintain 5S workplace organization, perform daily safety briefings /(toolbox talks/), enforce Environmental, Health, and Safety /(EHS/) standards across shift teams, and make sure personal protective equipment /(PPE/) is used appropriately.



Determine operational problems with the machine as soon as possible, record line breakdown incidents, carry out basic first/-line troubleshooting, and work with the maintenance team to take prompt corrective action.
