Roles & Responsibilities

Solutioning
- Understand customer billing models and configure contracts, pricing, metering and invoicing solutions.
- Translate complex business requirements into structured SaaS workflows and technical solutions.
- Design outcome-focused solutions for complex B2B SaaS products.

Pre-Sales & Technical Discovery
- Lead technical discovery with Finance, RevOps and Engineering stakeholders to understand billing models, usage data, source systems and revenue recognition requirements.
- Partner with Sales on technical demos, sandbox setups, POCs and RFPs, tailoring solutions to customer use cases.
- Design integrations across Postgres, Snowflake, data warehouses and APIs, identifying data, idempotency, reconciliation and implementation risks.
- Co-own the technical sales cycle, qualify opportunities, build champion relationships, engage economic buyers and support deal closure.
- Support enterprise and mid-market opportunities with $50K+ ACV.

Business Case & Enablement
- Build business cases and RFP responses that clearly demonstrate business value,



savings and risk reduction.
- Create customer-specific solution documentation and effective sales-to-delivery handoffs.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both CXOs and technical stakeholders.

Internal Collaboration
- Represent customer requirements internally and share structured insights with Product and Engineering.
- Drive timely resolution of critical technical issues throughout the sales cycle.

Ideal Candidate

Mandatory

1. 5+ years of overall experience, including 3+ years in customer-facing Pre-Sales / Solutions Engineering within B2B SaaS.
2. Last 3 years must be in a Pre-Sales role such as Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant, Pre-Sales Engineer, Product Specialist or equivalent. Avoid post-sales/implementation profiles.
3. Proven experience in technical discovery, product demos, POCs, business cases and RFPs for enterprise/mid-market customers.
